Court of Common Pleas Case Records
Search Court of Common Pleas civil and criminal case records by docket number, name, and other criteria. Additional search options include date of birth, county, docket type, case category, case status, and filing date range. Search results include basic case information with links to docket sheets and court summaries. Some future docket events will be included. Some Philadelphia Municipal Court cases will be included when searching Philadelphia County.
Criminal Charge Information in Custody Cases
A call-in system allows parties in child custody cases to learn if anyone involved in the case has been charged with certain crimes. Registration is required, but is free of charge.

The Crime Victim Center of Chester County provides assistance to victims of crime, including 24-hour hotlines, crisis response, information about victims' rights and protection orders, referrals, prison release notification, and assistance with filing claims for compensation and restitution.

These are specialized divisions of Courts of Common Pleas that can set up treatment and supervision in lieu of incarceration for some non-violent offenders with substance abuse and mental health problems. The Chester County Bar Association offers a lawyer referral service to Chester County residents who can afford an attorney, and an Access to Justice program which provides free legal services to eligible people who cannot afford an attorney.
